We are on the eighth week of the Discover Fan Loyalty Poll, and with the College Football season in full swing, things are getting good. This season has been a fair one for my Sooners, but man, last night was a very stressful one for our house. They played Notre Dame, and the game was a not so good for us, but the game kept us on our toes. I think that this year, we need to avoid the home games because they just are not playing in our favor. To loose two home games in a row, well lets just say that is all I will say about that subject. We knew when we went into the game that we were not the favored team, and I think that stat left us with some bad luck, and for the fact that I was missing one of my lucky socks, lol. On that note, this weeks Discover Fan Loyalty Poll is on just that, the way the fans see their teams scores and how they coincide with their game day rituals and superstitions. I know that I am very superstitious and I know many other fans out there that also have their rituals and superstitions as well. Well, when they polled the fans they found that people like me are only in the 12 percent of college football fans who believe that their game day rituals and superstitions play a role in how their teams will play and take part in helping them win. Of that 12 percent they found that 58 percent of us that are superstitious share our rituals and superstitions with our family and friends while 37 percent tend to keep it to themselves. Personally, my husband knows that I am very superstitions, but he just puts it off as me being a little crazy so to say, the way I see it, if I am crazy then so is he because he is the one who married me so we are on the same page, lol.

Go ND! I'm surprised they don't have a higher percentage, they are now ranked 3rd! jj250@aol.com
Interesting. I have seen some of the rituals from friends. I will have to point them to this.
You know, football is a game that I've not yet figured out.
