Lansinoh, Gentle Naturals, and Colief (Preparing For Baby Guide)

I was sent a collection of great products for review that are perfect fits in the Preparing For Baby Guide. In this pack of items I was sent a couple of the Gentle Naturals products. One of the products from Gentle Naturals that I was sent was the Eczema Baby Wash. This is perfect for bathing baby and protecting their sensitive skin. With both of my babies thus far, they have both suffered from eczema. As a parent we want to keep our babies from having any issues or irritations, so in order to protect them and help ease the irritation of eczema, using products like the Gentle Naturals Eczema Baby Wash, can help us as parents provide the most comfort for baby. The second product that I was sent from Gentle Naturals was the Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Treatment. Like many other babies out there, my son had cradle cap. Cradle Cap is a rash that develops on babies head, above the eyebrows and around the ears. Though Cradle Cap does not irritate baby, as a parent we want to keep babies skin and precious head clear of any kind of rash or skin irritants. The Cradle Cap Treatment that I was sent from Gentle Naturals helps rid baby of the rash that is caused by Cradle Cap, by just adding a small amount to the affected area on babies head, and rub gently on the area avoiding your babies eyes. Then you loosen the scales from the rash by gently brushing them with a soft baby brush, then shampoo baby after you are done. I love the products from Gentle Naturals not only for what they do for your baby, but also for the fact that they contain natural ingredients and that they are dermatologist tested!

Another great product that I was sent in this baby care package was Colief Infant Drops. Like many other babies out there, my daughter suffered from colic. At the time, I was not exactly aware of what colic was. I was a new mom and I had no experience with colic, so I turned to my daughters pediatrician to learn more about colic. I learned that colic can be caused by access gas in babies tummy. Colic is when you have a baby who cries for at least 3 hours a day, for at least 3 days a week for at least 3 weeks. With my daughter, her colic was caused by the access gas in her tummy that was caused by the extra air she would suck in from the bottle during her feedings. For a baby, they cant tell you what is wrong with them and as a parent it is our job to try and make baby comfortable and try to understand what baby needs in order to be comfortable. That is where Colief comes in. Colief gives parents, families and caregivers that special bonding time back that might be interrupted by colic. Colief helps relieve the symptoms of colic, which provides a relief for everyone, which in hand gives you the chance to take in that special bonding time that we all look forward to when there is a new baby!!

The last couple of products that I was sent in this great care package for baby was some of the products from the Lansinoh line of baby products. One product that really caught my eye was the new mOmma Bottle. Not only is it a new bottle from Lansinoh, but it is also a very unique and interesting looking bottle. With my two eldest kids, I used the Lansinoh line of products when I was breast feeding, and I love that the new bottle design from Lansinoh is designed to keep the breast feeding effect going even when you have to use a bottle to feed. I know that with my daughter, I was working full time and I was a full time student when I had her, so I only really had time to pump. Due to me pumping most of the time, I had to rely on bottles in order for my daughter to be fed. One thing about using bottles and also trying to breast feed when I was home, was that it made the breast feeding experience for me a lot harder. I ended up stopping the pumping after a few months due to the fact that not only was it hard to get my daughter to latch on after she had been bottle feeding most of the time, but I also ended up getting engorged a lot due to my schedule. With my son, I was able to really get the most out of the breast feeding experience and really get the chance to bond with my son through the experience. So, when I see bottles that are made to support breast feeding, I find myself wanting to learn more about them, to find out if they really do support the breast feeding process. I love how with the mOmma bottle, the bottle shape and the form of the nipple, together mimic the shape of both the breast and your nipple which in hand makes it easier for baby to go back to the breast even when you are away. The other product from the Lansinoh line was one that a lot of us are familiar with, especially if you have pumped. I was sent a box of the Breast Milk Storage Bags, which really comes in handy for those days that you will be busy, away from home or working. Personally, even if you are a stay at home mom, having frozen breast milk on hand can really come in handy, so that others may feed and bond with baby and give you a chance to get things done or get some me time in!!!

In all, this set of products for baby will really come in handy when the new baby gets here and this set is also a set that I will recommend for others when preparing for baby or even when looking for some great products to give at a baby shower!!

This was not a paid post and honest/original opinions were used and they are my own. Thank you to the company and/or pr agency who supplied the product for review.

We had one with eczema. I hope this is a product you don't need to use.
