Vera Bradley (Gifts For Mom: Mothers Day 2012)

I personally love to shop for Mothers Day, both for my own mom and for myself as well. When I look back on myself as a mother, I feel that I as well as other moms out there deserve to thank ourselves for doing a good job and bringing up some really great kids! I mean, when you look at your kids, you can stare at them for hours it seems, in awe of what you have accomplished and in awe of how amazing your kids are. Bringing and raising a child in this world is an amazing accomplishment and Mothers Day is a day that not only others celebrate you as a mom, but you should also celebrate yourself as a mom. Well this year for Mothers Day I was sent some really great items from Vera Bradley. I was sent some of the items in the Lime’s Up pattern collection, which included the Get Carried Away Tote that is perfect for using when you are traveling. I love how much room is in this tote and has lots of pockets even ones that are plastic lined, which is perfect for any woman who is going for a little get away! You can use this tote as a piece of luggage or just keep it unzipped and wide open for a easy to access tote!! Another thing that I love about this bag as well as others in the Vera Bradley collection is the fact that they have padded straps which makes traveling and walking around with this bag so much more comfortable and which also makes this tote versatile for using both as a piece of luggage or a day tote! A perfect accessory to go with this amazing tote that I was sent, is the Straighten Up and Curl! Like many other women out there, I cant go with out my straightener, and when I am traveling, I hate having to wait to pack my straightener last due to the fact that I have to wait for it to cool down. Well with this amazing travel accessory, it has a heat-resistant lining so you can put your hot iron inside of it and not have to wait for it to cool!! The Straighten Up and Curl is great for when you are traveling but also for storing after using it for daily use at home! Another great accessory that makes for a perfect addition to this set that I was sent is the Umbrella. With moms, we are constantly on the go, whether we are running errands, shopping, running kids around or meeting up for play dates. Well one item that I think every mom should have handy at all times is a umbrella, and the umbrella I was sent from Vera Bradley has the Lime’s Up design on it so it blends in perfectly with the collection I was sent. I find that keeping the umbrella in my Get Carried Away Tote is perfect, so when I am out and about or on vacation and I run into some weather, I will be prepared!! In all this set made for a great gift for this mom, and I know that this set or any other items from the Vera Bradley collection will make any mom happy this Mothers Day!!
