The Whistleblower

In a world where we dont tend to look outside of our box, is the real life horror of human trafficking. This is a real and very scary problem that is going on in our world today. Recently I was sent a Blu-Ray copy of the amazing and eye opening movie, The Whistleblower. This is a movie that will truly open your eyes and make you think, it makes you think about the fact that there are women out there who are being tortured and sold against their will to be violated and abused. In The Whistleblower, there is a woman who is a cop from Nebraska brought to the UN to be a peacekeeper, only to find the very corrupt and inhumane human trafficking ring of innocent women taking place right where she is. She soon finds herself very emotionally attached to these women and she is willing to do what ever it takes to free them and make sure that their captures are prosecuted for their part in harming and even killing these women. When she digs too deep she finds that those who should be trusted and should be helping, play a big role in the business of human trafficking. This movie is very heart pounding and scary, but all in the same it is real. This is based on a true story and once you have watched it, you will think twice about the world around you, and how corrupt even the people we consider to be peacekeepers can be the most evil humans alive on this planet. This is a movie that you will want to watch, but you need to watch with a open mind and with out the kids. I really loved this movie, even though it does make you sick to know that human trafficking is real and is happening everyday, it really opens your eyes and it is a movie that you will want to share with others as well!

This looks like a good yet scarey (for anyone with kids) movie. Not a huge fan of movies based on true stories though unless they are happy.

I think this would be too disturbing to me. It's tragic. May God stop it.
