My husband loves his knives and swords. In fact, he has quite a collection, from his military items to the items that he uses as decor items in his man cave! I know that one thing that my husband has wanted was a USMC Dress Sword. He has some of his items from the Corp, but one thing that he did not have was his dress sword. It had been lost years back and it was one thing that he wished he had not lost. He has mentioned how much he liked having his dress sword in the past and how he would have loved to have it to display with the rest of his Corps items, and I had not really looked into getting one for him until this Christmas. We had gone to a auction recently, and they had a USMC Sword up for auction, after seeing it, my husband has mentioned it several times on how he wished we had had enough money that day to buy it. So I went online and started looking around for a USMC Sword to get my husband for Christmas this year. Mind you, the authentic ones are very expensive and I am not looking for anything too fancy, just one he can put with his uniform and pictures to display, so the search did take some time. That is until I came across an amazing site called DefenderKnives.com. This site would be one that I know my husband could find a whole bunch of items that he would like to add to his collection of knives and swords. After coming across the sword I realized that I was able to stay way below my budget, so I was able to get another item that I knew he would like. I went the 19″ Ninja Black Machette Sword with Sheath. I love how heavy this sword is and the price was so nice, I had enough left to get myself a much needed pedi and mani, lol. The point is, I got exactly what I was wanting to get my husband, plus a little extra, and still have some money left in the budget I had set on his gift for me to use on myself! Oh and the wonderful people from Defender Knives threw in a awesome Ninja Sword in exchange for a review of their site, so I really scored big with out even having to spend a whole lot! I love the selection they have and I love the prices on the items over at Defender Knives even more!!
I was not paid for this review. I was sent a sword as a sample from Defender Knives in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.
My son really wants a sword. I love the top one in the first photo.
The prices from this site are amazing, they sell this kinda stuff at our local flea market, but not at these prices!
That 19" machette sword looks really awesome. Wouldn't agree on it being the ideal holiday gift though, it's not really a perfect representation of what we're promoting during the season.
Boys always want swords.
