Water For Elephants

I love a good romantic drama, and Water For Elephants was exactly that. I love the story that makes this movie. In Water For Elephants you find the young, very handsome and intelligent Polish man leaving everything he knows behind after loosing his family to find himself in the right place at the right time so to say. He finds himself joining a circus. Shortly after joining, his heart is taken by the beauty of a woman he cant have. The bosses wife. To him, she is the most beautiful and graceful creature he has ever laid eyes on, and he is determined to somehow make her his even though he knows the dangers behind his ambition. With the schooling he has had, he finds himself the circus vet. He learns the way a circus works and how a circus during the depression was either going to be successful or fail. Along the way, going from town to town, circuses are kinda like buzzards. When one circus fails, the others come running to pick up their leftovers. After an unfortunate tragedy with the circuses main attraction, the boss finds a beautiful elephant from a failed circus and purchases her. He makes the young Polish man the elephants keeper and his beautiful wife is to ride the majestic elephant during circus performances. The young Polish man quickly learns that the elephant is more than just a beast in a circus attraction, he right away finds her personality and develops a bond. He quickly learns that the ways of the circus and how the animals are treated are not at all humane, and he feels that not only has the elephant been mistreated horribly but the woman of his dreams is being treated just as bad. The boss sees the closeness and bond that his wife has with the young Polish man and he tries to make his point about who the boss is and who owns who. I loved this movie and I would recommend it to any of my friends who are looking for a great romantic drama!!
