Christmas is a very joyful time of year. I love decorating and celebrating with my family and friends. I think that since I was little, it has kinda been a tradition that I have continued with my own kids, to add a new ornament every year. My parents have quite a collection of ornaments that they continue to put up every year. My parents wait until everyone gets to their house to put the decorations on the tree. I find it to be fun to decorate the tree with my kids and my sister. My kids love finding ornaments then asking us who made it or when it was bought and why it was added to the collection. Growing up, in grade school, we would make ornaments every year, which have been saved by parents. Then as we got older we would just add a ornament or two to commemorate the year. Even during the years when we were smaller, there were ornaments that were added just for that year. With the tradition still going in my family, in my home, I decided that I would help my sister start her own tradition. So when she has kids, they can continue to add to her own collection. This past Spring my husband and my sister both graduated from school. My sister graduated from Nursing school with her Bachelors in Nursing.
