Hartstrings (2011 Holiday Gift Guide)

Recently we set up a date for taking our holiday family photo. When we get ready for this picture, we like to have everyone in the picture all dressed up very nicely, so when we make the holiday cards, I am not looking at the clothes we went with and wondering why did I allow that. I do like to try to match everyone, even though I know the boys wont wear pink or purple, I like to have clothes that have colors in it that I can coordinate with my husbands and my sons clothes. Well this year I was given the chance to review a outfit from Hartstrings. I had my daughter help me out when looking for what we would go with this year for her. We chose a outfit that had colors in it that we could easily match up for my husband and son. One outfit that really got my daughters attention and that she said she just had to have was the Sweater Tunic. I do have to admit, this tunic is very cute. I also love the colors in it. I can coordinate a outfit for me in a pink or plum color then easily put my husband and son in greys and tans! I found that when we got the Sweater Tunic, I could put a nice turtle neck under the tunic and with some pink tights, the outfit really came together. The wonderful people from Hartstrings were nice enough to include a pair of silver ballet flats in for my daughter, that go great with this tunic as well!!

Along with this adorable set for my daughter I decided to go with a very charming set for my son. I did this in my own time but I found that this set that I put together for my son, will go great for my son when we go to take our family pictures this year!!

I know that now since I have my kids clothing taken care of, getting my husband and myself some clothes together will not be so hard!!
