This year when we sit down and think about Memorial Day we think about the men and women who have and still serve our country. I would like to think about my brother-in-law Bobby, who is overseas serving our country, and his wife who is former military now staying here in the states taking care of their little girl. I also want to wish him a safe journey home next month when he returns. I would also like to think of my cousin Jeremy, who has served in the Marine Corps and continues to serve our country. Then the past service men in my family which include my husband, his brother Rusty and his other brother Tim. Another family member on my husbands side I would like to think of this year is his cousin Mick, who has joined the Army. Another cousin of my husbands is Robert G. who still serving in the Marine Corp. There are three men in our family who have passed, but who also proudly served this country who will be remembered always, my father-in-law Robert and my grandfathers Stan and Ben. So when we sit down this Memorial Day for our dinner our thoughts and prayers go out to these proud service men and women as well as all those who have served or still continue to serve our country.
Today is Veteran's Day.
