Summer is just around the corner and with that comes summer camps and lots of activities that us as parents need to start planning. Kids have so much energy and for us to keep them occupied and busy can be very exhausting on a parent. That is why I love to keep arts and crafts around so when we have those moments of, what is there to do, I can find something that we can sit down and do together. Arts and crafts are so much fun to do with your kids and it can be a time that they really open up to you and tell you what ever may be on their minds and what is going on in their little worlds! It is also a time that kids can express themselves and really be themselves. I know that with Summer coming I have been on the lookout for anything and everything that I can put into our crafts bin. My daughter loves to draw, color, do bead work and paint. She loves to create then narrate the story behind what she has created. Her little brother follows her lead and also loves to create masterpieces! But as many kids out there Summer is a highly anticipated time of year for kids.
