Affresh Review and Giveaway CLOSED

Just like when you get soap scum in your shower and bathtub, it also builds up in your washer as well. When you use detergents in your washer you can get build up in the tub and in the hose, which will create a odor of mildew and mold. This is unpleasant and if you are like me, I cant stand bad smelling things. So when given some Affresh  Power Pucks to use in my washer, I was relieved to rid my laundry room of that awful stale smell of mildew. It very easy to use. After you have removed your clothes from the tub, you put a Affresh Power Puck in the washer, set it to the normal or clean wash cycle then set the water temp on hot. Let it complete the wash cycles, then repeat at least once a month! If you have a HE washer Affresh also makes a Grit Grabber cloth that you can clean your HE washer with.

I was also given some Affresh Dishwasher and Disposal Cleaner. This is great as well! I know that with my dishwasher there can be this odor that seems to build up. I can run bleach through it, but that only seems to temporarily mask the odors. When I was reading up on Affresh, it mentions a stinky buildup that occurs in the hoses, so when I told my husband he decided to show me how nasty it looked in our dishwasher hose. Gross, and very stinky! I did not know that there was a nasty smell like that in our house. Right after he traumatized me, I had to immediately put a Affresh Dishwasher tab in the dishwasher. I wanted to see if it really worked, and to my shock, it did! The hose was clean and no longer slimy and that nasty smell was gone!!! I will be using the Affresh Dishwasher Cleaner once a month from now on. I am not going to take the chance on having that nastiness in my house again. If I had a Disposal I would be using the Affresh Cleaner in that as well.

Giveaway: I was given some Affresh Dishwasher and Disposal Cleaner and some of the Affresh Power Pucks and Grit Grabbers to try and review in my home, courtesy of the wonderful people at Whirlpool! I will also be giving the same set I was given to one of my readers, also courtesy of the people at Whirlpool. You can purchase your own Affresh by heading over to the Affresh website and looking for a retailer that sells Affresh near you!

Our Washing machine has a clean cycle, but I am sure it could use to be cleaned of some soap scum. We don't have a disposal and never have cleaned the dishwasher!
